טולי כלב השירות מבלה את חייו בעזרה לבעלים והחבר הכי טוב שלו, מייקל קנטו.

"הוא היה איתי בכל רגע מאז שקיבלתי איתו", אמר מייקל.

טולי עוזר למייקל לפתוח דלתות, להדליק ולכבות את האורות, להרים דברים – כל הדברים היומיומיים הקטנים שמייקל מתקשה לעשות בעצמו.

אז כאשר יום ההולדת של טולי התקרב, מייקל רצה לעזור משהו מיוחד עבור חברו הפרוותי.

To say that “the last 10 years were a roller coaster” should be the definition of an understatement. I’ve gone from practicing driving on the highway with my temporary license to not being able to lift a finger. There have been countless times that I’ve thought about giving up, quitting. ‘This is to hard, too miserable, I cannot stand to go through this for another day, let alone the rest of my life. I’ll never be able to do the things that I love to do again.’ But there is a single reason why I’m still here, and that is YOU. My support system is unbelievable, I would not be here today if it wasn’t for you, and I am eternally grateful for everything you’ve done. Whether it was a vist to the hospital or a simple ‘get well soon!’, everything helped and I don’t give you guys the credit that you deserve. I’m doing things that I genuinely love and it wouldn’t of happened without you. I’m going to graduate with a degree that I’m extremely excited about because of you. So I guess TL:DR: THANK YOU! You have helped me climb out of hell and I am extremely grateful for everything you’ve done, big or small it has made an impact on me. I am thankful for YOU!

כשטולי חגג יום הולדת ארבע, מייקל רצה לוודא שהכלב האהוב עליו נהנה מיום מיוחד.

במקום לקנות לו מתנה שהוא אולי לא יאהב, הוא נתן לו לבחור את המתנה שלו בעצמו.

מייקל לקח אותו לחנות החיות המקומית וישר לצעצועים כדי שהוא יוכל לבחור לעצמו מתנה. זה כל כך נפלא לראות את טולי שמח ונרגש.

"זה הפך לסוג של מסורת ביום ההולדת שלו. הוא אוהב לנוח ולהתכרבל עם הצעצועים שלו", אמר מייקל.
